Air Arabia was established in 2003 and is the largest low cost airline in the Middle East. The parent airline is based in the United Arab Emirates. However, in 2009 a sub company jointly owned by the parent airline and Moroccan businesses was established in Casablanca.
This venture has, so far, been successful and Air Arabia has just commenced low cost flights from Luton and Gatwick to Casablanca and also to Tangier.
This increases the opportunity to create a 2 centre holiday within Morocco as both Air Arabia and Easyjet allow you to book a one way ticket. This means potential visitors may have the opportunity to fly into Casablance or Tangier and out of Marrakech without having to go with a scheduled airline.
The ideal route between the cities is to take the train. Casablanca to Marrakech is approximately 3 hours and Tangier to Marrakech is approximately 11 hours. For those wishing to have a little more luxury and opting for Casablanca we can arrange for a car and driver to collect you in Casablanca and drive you to our Riad.
