Restaurants

In the past few years many restaurants have progressed to European standards and food is now part of the Marrakech experience. There really is somewhere for all budgets and occasions.  However, as the majority of restaurants source their fresh ingredients daily from the local farmers, some dishes sell out early in the evenning.
We are happy to go through the restaurant choice during your stay with us and make recommendations as you require.  However, here are a few suggestions to give you some idea of the choice that you have.  If you are part of a larger group it may be worth considering making a reservation.  We are happy to do this on your behalf or alternatively there is a link to the web site (if they have one) on this page.

Derb Chtouka

A bit of a walk at 25 minutes but well worth it.   In the Kasbah and away from the tourist zone.  Or, it is accessible by taxi.

Owned by Englishman Mike Richardson. He brought his famous concept from Fez to Marrakech.  It has an urban feel and is truly different with Moroccan and "other" flavours on the menu.  We love this place and the restaurant works hard to support local culture.

Nice roof terrace and a cooking school on site.

56 Derb Chentouf، Quartier Riad Larrouss

Yes really! Marrakech has an excellent Indonesian restaurant.

Just a short ten minute walk from the Riad.

The Chef is from Indonesia and tries hard to replicate the authentic taste.  He is so determined that he even grows his own herbs and spices.

The setting is the roof top (and courtyard) of a local Riad.   Great food and a nice alternative to Moroccan cuisine.

Booking not usually necessary.
